In this session, i will explain about Passive voice. What is the passive voice?  Enjoy read it ^^

The passive voice is formed by using the appropiate form of the verb to be and a past pasticiple. It is less usual than the active voice. The active voice is the “normal” voice.
To make a passive sentence we need “to be + a past pasticiple”. Look at the sentence patterns below:
1.       Simple Present                                 : S + is/am/are + past participle + by + Object
2.       Present Continuous                        : S + is/am/are + being + past participle + by + Object
3.       Simple Past                                         : S + was/were + past participle + by + Object
4.       Simple Present with modals        : S + modal + be + past participle + by + Object
5.       Present Perfect                                : S + have/has + been + past participle + by + Object
6.       Past Perfect                                       : S + had + been + past participle + by + Object

Active Sentences
Passive Voices
Tenses
The sun produces energy
Energy is produced by the sun
Simple Present
In an eclipse the moon is blocking the sunlight
In an eclipse sunlight is being blocked by the moon
Present Continuous
The clouds of dusts and gas formed the planets
The planet were formed from the clouds of dusts and gas
Simple Past
Global heating will melt in the ice in the North and South poles
Ice in the North and South poles will be melted by the global heating
Simple present with modals
The policemen have evacuated the victims of the disaster
The victims of the disaster have been evacuated by the policemen
Present Perfect
Note:
                The key to identify the passive voice is by looking a form of “to be and a past pasticiple”. You have to remember that a past participle not always ends in “-ed”.
